Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins

It’s been a long time since I’ve updated my website, but last year I did my first ever Chicago play! The big premier!

The play was Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins, adapted by Michael Dailey from the classic Jewish children’s book by Eric Kimmel. I played the parts of Al, Villager, and Goblin #2. It was so much fun, we had a really great director, and met some really cool actors. The ensemble chemistry was on point!

Here’s a description of the play:

Will Hershel of Ostropool outsmart the goblins who haunt the old synagogue so that villagers can celebrate Hanukkah? In this stage adaptation of the Caldecott Honor winning book by Eric Kimmel, the story comes to life with music and a little bit of magic for families of all ages to enjoy.

We ran from Dec 7 to Dec 29, 2019, to some really positive reviews. I’m hoping this is the start of a long and exciting theatre career in Chicago!
